The Project

For Gallantry & Service is dedicated to telling the stories of veterans of the United States Armed Forces who have served faithfully and dutifully, or have distinguished themselves through valor in combat.

The logo

The bronze star represents everything this project stands for: a "V" for valor, awarded for gallantry in combat, and an oak leaf cluster, awarded for meritorious service.

All veterans who have served faithfully and dutifully, regardless of their combat status (or whether they acted valiantly) or commendations they received (or did not receive) are worthy of having their story told.
